## About the Role You may be a strong fit if you have hands-on experience building production software across the backend and product stack, along with experience in one or more of the following areas: - Adtech, programmatic, RTB, DSPs, SSPs, retail media, campaign infrastructure, or advertising data products - High-scale backend systems, event pipelines, APIs, Kafka or other streaming systems, and data platforms - Product workflows such as lead generation, RFIs, sponsored listings, marketplaces, advertiser tools, dashboards, or self-serve SaaS - Audience targeting, identity, measurement, attribution, CRM matchback, clean rooms, first-party data, consent, or privacy-safe activation - Building and shipping practical zero-to-one products in startup environments You should be comfortable working across the stack: turning product ideas into working user flows, building the backend services and APIs behind them, and making sensible technical tradeoffs at an early-stage company. You do not need experience in every area above. More important are strong engineering judgment, product instinct, comfort with ambiguity, and the ambition to help build something category-defining. ## Qualifications You may be a strong fit if you have experience in one or more of the following: - Adtech, programmatic, RTB, DSPs, SSPs, retail media, or campaign infrastructure - Event pipelines, high-scale backend systems, Kafka, streaming, APIs, or data platforms - Audience targeting, identity, measurement, attribution, CRM matchback, or clean rooms - Sponsored listings, marketplace monetization, lead-generation products, or advertiser dashboards - Privacy-safe activation, consent, first-party data, or customer data platforms - Building practical zero-to-one products in startup environments You do not need to have done every part of this before. More important are strong systems judgment, product instinct, comfort with ambiguity, and the ambition to help build something category-defining. ## Compensation Structure This is a founder-track, equity-based opportunity at the pre-funding stage — not a conventional salaried employee role at the outset. The right person would receive meaningful equity with standard vesting, based on time commitment, scope of ownership, execution responsibility, and long-term role. The position is expected to become paid after financing. ## About the Company Crisscross is building the AI-powered B2B vendor discovery platform — organizing a $6T professional-services market and making visible the most valuable missing signal in B2B advertising: companies actively selecting vendors. Crisscross is based at Station F in Paris. Paris-based candidates are preferred, but remote collaboration may be possible for an exceptional fit.
