Responsibilities
Perform complex analytical testing using techniques including HPLC, GC, LC/MS, GC/MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV-Vis, FTIR, titration, and gravimetric analysis; Prepare samples, standards, reagents, calibration solutions, and quality control materials; Review, interpret, and evaluate analytical data to ensure accuracy and compliance; Identify atypical or out-of-specification results and assist with investigations and corrective actions; Operate, calibrate, maintain, qualify, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation; Participate in proficiency testing and quality assurance activities required by ISO 17025; Maintain analytical records, instrument logs, and quality documentation; Assist in the development, optimization, validation, and implementation of analytical methods and laboratory procedures; Draft, revise, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical documentation; Serve as a technical resource for laboratory personnel; Train and mentor laboratory personnel on laboratory techniques and quality systems; Cross-train across multiple laboratory functions; Assist laboratory leadership with workflow coordination and technical problem solving; Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Customer Service departments; Plan and prioritize workload to meet turnaround times and business needs.
