## About the venture We are building a stealth AI-native platform for expert professionals working with complex technical, engineering, regulatory, and legal information. The product sits at the intersection of technical document intelligence, structured drafting, workflow automation, and secure enterprise deployment. The first market is a highly regulated technical sector where accuracy, confidentiality, and workflow integration matter from day one. We are looking for a technical co-founder / CTO-level founding engineer to lead the product from concept to working MVP, pilots, and pre-seed scale-up. ## The role This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You will not merely manage engineers. You will personally design, build, and ship the first version of the platform. You will work directly with the founders to convert a domain-specific product vision into a robust, usable, secure software product. ## What you will own You will own: - Technical architecture - MVP build and delivery - Engineering roadmap - Product infrastructure - AI system architecture - Document ingestion and retrieval architecture - Security model - On-premise / enterprise deployment strategy - Engineering hiring plan - Technical investor diligence - Build-versus-buy decisions - Early technical partnerships ## What you will build The first product will include: - Secure user workspace - Technical document upload and parsing - Search and retrieval across documents - AI-assisted classification and structured generation - Human-in-the-loop review - Editable technical work product - Source-grounded outputs - Audit trail - Export functionality - Enterprise/security-ready architecture Future product modules will involve live technical input capture, structured workflows, regulated data handling, and enterprise integrations. ## Required experience You should have strong experience in: - Full-stack software engineering - Python and/or TypeScript - React / Next.js or similar frontend frameworks - Backend architecture using FastAPI, Node.js, Django, or similar - PostgreSQL or equivalent relational databases - API design - Cloud deployment - Secure file handling - LLM application development - RAG pipelines - Search/retrieval systems - Building MVPs quickly and pragmatically - Early-stage product development ## Highly valuable experience Experience in any of the following would be highly valuable: - Legaltech - Regtech - Defence, aerospace, engineering, or industrial software - Document automation - Knowledge-management systems - CAD, design tools, or technical drawing software - Secure enterprise SaaS - On-premise or air-gapped deployments - SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / GDPR-aligned product architecture - Patent, IP, compliance, or regulated workflow tools ## Who you are You are likely to be a strong fit if you are: - A builder first - Comfortable with ambiguity - Able to work without a large team - Commercially minded - Security-conscious - Fast, pragmatic, and rigorous - Willing to challenge product assumptions - Able to translate complex workflows into simple software - Interested in building a category-defining product, not just another AI wrapper ## What we are not looking for We are not looking for: - A non-coding CTO - A pure advisor - A large-company engineering manager who no longer builds - A pure AI researcher who cannot ship product - A consultant looking only for cash fees - Someone who wants a large team before building anything ## Compensation This is an early-stage founding role.
