## About the Role We are looking for a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to help design, build, and launch secure blockchain products with seamless wallet-connected user experiences. You'll work on smart contract architecture, wallet transaction flows, testing, deployment, and Web3 application integrations across networks such as Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, and Polygon. The role is ideal for an engineer who cares deeply about security, clean architecture, gas efficiency, and building products users can trust. Location: Remote (Worldwide) Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: $150,000 – $200,000 USD annually, depending on experience and qualifications ## Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and deploy secure smart contracts for blockchain applications. - Build and maintain wallet integration flows, including wallet connection, transaction signing, network switching, and error handling. - Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to integrate smart contracts into user-facing products. - Improve smart contract architecture with a focus on security, scalability, maintainability, and gas efficiency. - Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests for smart contracts and wallet workflows. - Support contract deployment, verification, monitoring, and upgrade processes across testnet and mainnet environments. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices. - Work with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements and deliver production-ready blockchain solutions. - Stay current with blockchain protocols, Web3 tooling, wallet standards, and smart contract security practices. ## Requirements - 5+ years of professional experience as a Smart Contract Engineer, Blockchain Engineer, or similar role. - Strong proficiency in Solidity and EVM-based smart contract development. - Experience with development frameworks such as Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle. - Experience with wallet integration libraries such as ethers.js, web3.js, wagmi, viem, or similar tools. - Hands-on experience integrating wallets including MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, and other EVM-compatible wallets. - Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, including gas optimization, transaction lifecycle management, smart contract upgrade patterns, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155), and event indexing. - Experience with smart contract testing, auditing processes, and security best practices. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment. - Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from design through deployment. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience building DeFi, NFT, staking, DAO, payment, or wallet-related Web3 products. - Experience working with Layer 2 networks such as Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Polygon, or zkSync. - Familiarity with account abstraction, smart wallets, multi-signature wallets, or gasless transaction systems. - Experience with The Graph, blockchain indexers.
