AI / Prompt Engineer — Cofounding Role

## About the Role We are looking for an AI / Prompt Engineer to join simplecx in a cofounding or founding team capacity. This is not an internship. We are looking for someone with practical experience in AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI workflows, and product development who can help shape the intelligence layer of simplecx. The ideal candidate is someone who can take ownership, think strategically, and build hands-on. You will work closely with the founding/product team to design, test, and improve AI-powered features that help users create accurate, personalized, and on-brand content across text, image, and video. This is an unpaid role initially, with equity or founder terms to be discussed with the right candidate. It is best suited for someone who is excited about joining an early-stage product, contributing at a high level, and helping build a company from the ground up. We are especially interested in applicants based in the EMEA region. ## Key Responsibilities - Develop, test, and continuously improve LLM prompts for content creation, personalization, and industry-specific use cases. - Build and maintain reusable prompt libraries for sectors such as retail, SaaS, healthcare, and other business categories. - Analyze user interactions and AI outputs to identify prompt gaps, misinterpretations, tone issues, and opportunities for improvement. - Improve AI response accuracy, content quality, personalization, and brand consistency. - Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to define and integrate AI-powered features into simplecx. - Support the development of AI workflows for multimodal content generation, including text, image, and video. - Help design and maintain brand voice personalization and fine-tuning workflows. - Research and implement relevant AI/ML techniques, including LLM updates, RAG, embeddings, fine-tuning, and multimodal AI tools. - Build or support scalable APIs and workflows for content ideation, creation, editing, and publishing. - Monitor, evaluate, and improve model performance using user feedback and real product data. - Ensure responsible AI usage, data privacy, and compliance with relevant standards. - Contribute to product strategy and help shape the future AI direction of simplecx. ## What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is both technical and product-minded. You should be comfortable working with AI tools and LLMs, but also understand how AI features translate into real user value. You should care about accuracy, tone, brand voice, usability, scalability, and content quality. This role is ideal for someone who wants more than a task-based position. We are looking for someone who can think like a builder, contribute like an owner, and grow with the product. ## Requirements - Practical experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI workflows, or AI product development. - Experience working with AI tools or APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Stability AI, or similar platforms. - Strong understanding of prompt design, prompt testing, and AI output evaluation. - Ability to analyze AI responses and improve quality, tone, accuracy, and relevance. - Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, fine-tuning, or model evaluation techniques. - Experience or strong interest in multimodal AI for text, image, and video generation. - Ability to work independently and take ownership in an early-stage startup environment. - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams. - Interest in content creation, marketing technology, SaaS, creator tools, or AI productivity platforms. ## Nice to Have - Experience building AI-powered content creation tools. - Experience with brand voice systems, personalization, or content automation. - Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS, or similar tools. - Experience building APIs or backend workflows for AI products. - Startup or founding team experience. - Experience working with SMEs, marketers, creators, or SaaS platforms. - Portfolio, GitHub, demos, experiments, or case studies showing AI-related work. ## Why Join Us - Join simplecx at an early and meaningful stage. - Help shape the AI foundation of an ambitious content creation platform. - Work on practical AI features across text, visual, and video content creation. - Contribute to a product focused on clarity, control, and scalable content production. - Work closely with the founding team and influence product direction. - Opportunity to discuss equity or founder terms as part of the role. ## Important Note This is a cofounding / founding team opportunity.
