## About the role As the AI Software Co-Founder at Vishru, you will own the technical vision and architecture for our AI-driven digital signage platform. This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Jose, CA, working closely with the founding team to design, build, and scale core AI and software systems. Day-to-day, you will prototype and deploy models that adapt visual and audio content to different displays, develop backend services and APIs, and integrate AI workflows into production-ready applications. You will collaborate on product strategy, conduct user and market research to guide feature development, and translate insights into technical roadmaps. You will also help recruit and mentor early team members, establish engineering best practices, and engage with customers, partners, and investors to represent the technical side of the company. ## About the company Vishru builds AI-powered digital signage that dynamically adapts content to a wide variety of display sizes, shapes, and environments. Vishru aims to redefine how brands and venues communicate through digital signage by making content smarter, more responsive, and more engaging. ## Responsibilities - Own the technical vision and architecture for the AI-driven digital signage platform. - Design, build, and scale core AI and software systems. - Prototype and deploy models that adapt visual and audio content to different displays. - Develop backend services and APIs. - Integrate AI workflows into production-ready applications. - Collaborate on product strategy. - Conduct user and market research to guide feature development. - Translate insights into technical roadmaps. - Recruit and mentor early team members. - Establish engineering best practices. - Engage with customers, partners, and investors to represent the technical side of the company. ## Requirements - Strong analytical skills, including problem-solving, data analysis, and ability to design experiments and evaluate AI system performance. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with co-founders, customers, and partners. - Sales and customer-facing skills, such as engaging with early adopters, supporting technical sales conversations, and incorporating customer feedback into the product roadmap. - Marketing-related skills, including understanding of product positioning, go-to-market strategies, and how AI capabilities translate into clear value propositions. - Research skills, including staying current with AI/ML advancements, rapidly prototyping new approaches, and evaluating academic and industry work for practical use. - Hands-on expertise in software engineering (e.g., Python, modern frameworks, cloud infrastructure) and applied AI/ML relevant to content generation, personalization, or computer vision. - Demonstrated experience building and shipping production systems or products, ideally in a startup or early-stage environment. - Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and take ownership across technical and non-technical domains. - Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
