## About Alchemyst AI
Alchemyst AI is building the context layer for the agentic web - a verifiable context engine that gives AI agents persistent memory, business data, and operational context so they stay accurate, reliable, and production-ready.
We believe the world is moving toward Agent Era 2.0, where context matters more than prompts. Prompts can be auto-optimized; what can't be faked is deep, tractable, verifiable context. That's the thesis we've bet our entire company on.
We started with context engineering at our core - and we're now horizontally scaling to build custom AI agents across verticals for mid-sized to large enterprises. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies and fast-scaling startups who depend on us to automate complex, domain-specific workflows.
We're backed by both Indian and international investors. We're a team of ~10 today. This is the ground floor.

## About the Internship
We're looking for a Full Stack AI Engineer Intern who enjoys building products and figuring things out.
You'll work on the interfaces and systems that power AI products used by real customers. That could mean building dashboards, improving agent workflows, working on real-time updates, integrating APIs, or helping us ship new AI-powered features.
This isn't the kind of internship where you're assigned isolated tasks for months. You'll work directly with engineers and founders, contribute to production code, and see your work reach users quickly.
If you've built projects on your own, enjoy learning new technologies, and like solving practical engineering problems, you'll fit in well here.
## What You'll Work On
- Build and improve applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
- Integrate frontend applications with AI systems, APIs, and backend services
- Work on real-time features using WebSockets and streaming responses
- Build internal tools, dashboards, and customer-facing products
- Debug issues across the stack and help improve reliability
- Collaborate with engineers on product design and implementation
- Participate in discussions with customers when required to better understand problems
## What We're Looking For
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Good understanding of React and modern frontend development
- Familiarity with Next.js
- Experience building and deploying personal, freelance, internship, or college projects
- Understanding of APIs, async programming, and state management
- Exposure to WebSockets, real-time systems, or AI integrations is a plus
- Curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn quickly
## What Makes Someone Successful Here
- They enjoy building things rather than endlessly planning them
- They can take a problem, break it down, and work through ambiguity
- They care about user experience and product quality
- They ask questions when stuck and communicate clearly
- They take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
## Why Join
- Work directly with founders and senior engineers
- Build features that reach production and real users
- Gain hands-on experience with AI products, agents, and modern web technologies
- Learn how an early-stage startup operates
- Get exposure to customer problems, product decisions, and engineering trade-offs
If you're excited about building products, learning fast, and working on AI applications that solve real business problems, we'd love to hear from you.
