Head of Engineering / Founding Engineer | Litigation Finance | LA preferred, NYC, or remote

## About the Role Tech-enabled litigation funder that uses AI to transform the archaic legal asset industry. Already deployed $40M across thousands of claims and are scaling rapidly. As first engineering hire, you'll own the entire technical stack, building from scratch. You'll work directly with the founders, owning the architecture, choice of stack, shaping the team, and shipping code that runs in production for real customers. This role has a direct path to CTO. ## What we offer - $200k-$275k base salary plus 0.5%-2.0% equity (flexible for the right person) - Work in-person in NYC or LA, or remote with quarterly travel for team kickoffs ## About the Company Technology-enabled alternative asset investment firm focused on niche, uncorrelated investment opportunities in specialty finance, with an initial focus on litigation finance. Vertically integrated AI legal asset platform building technology to change the legal industry. The product spans the full plaintiff-side legal value chain (origination, case underwriting, law firm operations, capital markets). To date, has deployed tens of millions of dollars across thousands of meritorious legal claims in partnership with some of the nation's top law firms. ## Job The Head of Engineering will be responsible for building all aspects of the product.
