## About the role Founding Software Engineer Intern Join an early-stage AI startup building discovery intelligence infrastructure for global e-commerce. Work directly with the founder and engineering team on LLM systems, data pipelines, marketplace analytics, and product development. ## About LinguaScale LinguaScale is an AI-powered discovery intelligence platform helping global brands optimize product discovery across international e-commerce marketplaces. Rather than simply translating product listings, we model how local consumers actually search, browse, and buy. We are building the infrastructure layer for international revenue readiness. ## The Role We're looking for a highly motivated intern to help build and scale our AI-driven discovery modeling platform. You'll work directly with the founder and engineering team on real-world problems involving LLMs, e-commerce data, search behavior, localization, and marketplace optimization. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to a venture-backed style startup at an early stage and help shape core product development. ## What You'll Work On - Build and improve AI evaluation pipelines - Analyze marketplace search and discovery patterns - Develop Python-based data processing tools - Work with LLM APIs and prompt engineering - Support benchmarking and experimentation - Help scale catalog analysis across global marketplaces - Contribute to product and research initiatives ## Requirements - Strong Python skills - Interest in AI, machine learning, or data science - Comfortable working independently - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience with APIs, data analysis, or LLMs is a plus - Current undergraduate, graduate student, or recent graduate ## Nice to Have - Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or similar models - Familiarity with e-commerce, SEO, or search systems - Experience working with structured datasets - Latin American experience - fluency in Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese ## What You'll Gain - Direct exposure to startup building - Hands-on AI product development experience - Mentorship from founder with 30+ years of global business experience - Opportunity for ongoing involvement as the company grows
