Front End Engineer

## About the role We are looking for a skilled React Developer with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team. You will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable, and performant web applications, collaborating closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, care deeply about code quality, and have a strong eye for UI/UX. ## Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance web applications using React.js. - Build reusable, testable, and modular UI components aligned with design specifications. - Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints. - Translate Figma / Adobe XD wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect user interfaces. - Optimize application performance using code splitting, lazy loading, and memoization. - Write clean, well-documented code with proper unit and integration test coverage. - Participate in code reviews, contribute to engineering standards and best practices. - Work in Agile/Scrum sprints — attend stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives. - Identify and resolve cross-browser compatibility and responsive design issues. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to a collaborative team culture. ## Required Technical Skills ### Core Frontend - React.js - JavaScript (ES6+) - TypeScript - HTML5 / CSS3 - JSX / TSX - Responsive Design - CSS Modules - Sass / SCSS ### State Management - Redux / Redux Toolkit - React Context API - Zustand - React Query ### Routing & API - React Router v6 - RESTful APIs - GraphQL / Apollo - Axios / Fetch ### Build Tools & Ecosystem - Vite / Webpack - npm / Yarn - ESLint / Prettier - Babel ### Testing - Jest - React Testing Library - Cypress (E2E) - Vitest ### Version Control & CI/CD - Git / GitHub / Bitbucket - GitHub Actions / Jenkins - Docker (basics) - CI/CD Pipelines ## Good to Have - Experience with Next.js (SSR / SSG / App Router). - Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or Material UI / Ant Design component libraries. - Knowledge of WebSockets or real-time data patterns. - Exposure to cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Understanding of micro-frontend architecture. - Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1). - Basic knowledge of Node.js / Express for BFF (Backend for Frontend) patterns. ## Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). - 3 – 4 years of professional experience building production React applications. - Strong understanding of browser rendering, DOM manipulation, and web performance. - Proven ability to write readable, maintainable, and well-tested code. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good communication skills — written and verbal — to work effectively with cross-functional teams. ## Soft Skills & Cultural Fit - Self-starter who can take ownership and deliver independently. - Collaborative team player who gives and receives feedback constructively. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative environment. - Curious, continuous learner who stays current with the React ecosystem. - Detail-oriented with a strong UX empathy.
