Backend Engineer -Node.js, mobile apps

## About the role - Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices. - Design and implement scalable database structures and integrations. - Build and support AI-powered workflows such as image identification and AI chat features. - Deploy, monitor, and maintain services on AWS or similar cloud platforms. - Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and performance. - Collaborate with mobile developers, designers, and product stakeholders to deliver new features. - Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews. - Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices. ## Requirements - 1–2 years of backend development experience. - Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript. - Experience working with REST APIs and backend service development. - Good understanding of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies. - Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, or related cloud infrastructure. - Basic understanding of system design, scalability, and security principles. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Good communication and collaboration skills. ## Nice to have - Experience with AI integrations, vector databases, or LLM-based applications. - Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, and cloud deployment workflows. - Familiarity with Python, Java, or other backend technologies. - Experience working in startups, freelance projects, or building side projects. ## What we offer - Work directly with the Founder and core team. - Build products used by a global audience. - Gain exposure to AI, mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and product development. - Opportunity to grow into a senior engineering role as the company scales. - Flexible work environment and ownership-driven culture. ## About the company Trackzio is a fast-growing AI-first startup building mobile applications that help people pursue hobbies, improve productivity, and learn new skills.
