## About the role Dedicated High-Signal On-Chain / Smart Contract Engineer Title: Principal On-Chain Engineer (Tokenized RWA + Agentic Systems) Location: Remote (US time-zone overlap preferred) Type: Full-time Equity: Competitive early-stage package ## About the company SCARCE is building the institutional-grade infrastructure layer for tokenized ultra-luxury real estate combined with a production-grade agentic intelligence platform (the "Orchestra"). We are creating compliant, programmable, and intelligent access to one of the world's most resilient asset classes. ## Responsibilities - Design and implement production-grade smart contracts (primarily ERC-3643/1400 and related standards) with embedded compliance logic, transfer restrictions, and auditability. - Build and maintain secure key management, wallet infrastructure, and on-chain/off-chain bridges. - Develop on-chain components that support agentic workflows, real-time decisioning, and programmable capital flows. - Collaborate with our GC/CRO and compliance team to translate regulatory requirements into on-chain enforcement mechanisms. - Establish secure development practices, testing frameworks, and monitoring for on-chain systems. - Partner with the agentic systems team to ensure on-chain primitives are usable and reliable for multi-agent orchestration. ## Requirements - 5+ years of production smart contract development experience with a strong focus on regulated or institutional use cases. - Deep expertise with ERC-3643, ERC-1400, or equivalent security token standards. - Proven experience building compliant on-chain systems (KYC/AML hooks, transfer restrictions, governance, audit trails). - Strong understanding of secure key management, multi-sig, and custody patterns. - Experience integrating on-chain systems with off-chain infrastructure and APIs. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work across technical, legal, and product domains. ## Nice to have - Experience with agentic/AI systems interacting with on-chain contracts, or background in RWA/tokenization platforms. ## What we offer - You will own a critical layer of infrastructure for what we believe will become a category-defining platform at the intersection of real-world assets and agentic intelligence.
