We are currently seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Mechanical Maintenance Team in Long Harbour, NL. Relocation to the Province of Newfoundland & Labrador will be required for this role. The role is a permanent on-site position, working a 4x10s Monday to Thursday schedule at our Long Harbour Operations Site. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering improved asset performance by implementing and optimizing the reliability program for on-site technical maintenance support, engineering, screening/scoping, repair scopes of work and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the plant. Additionally, in this position you will: - Provides on-site, maintenance engineering technical support following a failure, in order to have assets returned to running condition as soon possible, with a reduced likelihood of a reoccurrence. - Supports operations and execution teams to conduct Continuous Improvement Projects related to operating or maintaining assets and improving infrastructure. - Makes recommendations for improving the repair cycles on assets.
