Apply DoDD 5000-series guidance and AFMC/AFLCMC engineering policies to acquisition engineering activities; Design, develop, integrate and test Computer Systems & Software; Assess hardware, software, and systems qualification to meet airworthiness criteria; Support development and analysis of system and subsystem requirements; Conduct technical planning, system integration analyses, trade studies, and risk assessments; Review engineering proposals, designs, specifications, and change packages; Support engineering reviews, design reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), working groups, and program reviews; Support systems and avionics engineering across requirements, design, integration, development, modification, test, airworthiness, production, sustainment, deployment, operations, and divestiture; Coordinate with acquisition organizations, higher headquarters, DoW entities, labs, industry, and universities; Apply systems engineering processes for airworthiness, requirements, software releases, metrics and traceability, allocations, program protection, technical reviews, configuration audits, design analysis, interface integration, and test verification/validation; Support development, deployment, and sustainment of technical processes ensuring safe operation and maintenance of systems
