Frontend Engineer (Full-Stack Track)

## About the role SFN AI is an early-stage team building the intelligence layer for TikTok Shop. We process thousands of TikTok Shop videos on a daily basis to help brands and creators see what's working, stay compliant, and ship content that actually converts. Small team, founder-led, AI at the center of how we build. We strip the nice-to-haves, ship the core, and make it robust. We're hiring an early engineering hire to own front-end work across the product. You'll work directly with our CTO, ship to production in days instead of quarters, and grow into a full-stack role as the company grows. ## Why this one is worth a look - Real ownership from week one and a direct line to the CTO every day - A team that treats AI as core tooling, not a buzzword ... you'll build the agents and systems that do the heavy lifting, not just write code faster - East Coast hours and an async culture: you sign off, the CTO picks up, your work is reviewed by the time you're back online ## What you'll do - Build and ship front-end features in React and TypeScript across our creator studios and brand dashboards - Take features from spec to production: the UI, the calls it makes to our services, and how the data comes back - Own quality where users feel it ... page load speed, smooth interactions, and the small details that make an app feel good - Wire up new data and functionality on the backend (mostly straightforward Python) by following established patterns - Work through feature builds and support tickets independently, with a daily checkpoint - Use AI tooling to build the systems and agents that automate the repetitive work ## What we're looking for - Computer science degree. This one is firm. We want someone who knows what "right" looks like. - 3 to 5 years building production software, front-end focused - Strong TypeScript and React. JavaScript a given. Some Python, or the ability to ramp fast. - A genuinely strong problem solver and a clear communicator. You'll run with a lot of independence. - Comfortable working async on US East Coast hours - AI-native: you already build with AI tools and want to push how far that goes - Someone who wants to grow with an early-stage company, not just clear a ticket queue ## Nice to have - Early-stage startup experience - Exposure to AWS and serverless (Lambda), Postgres or similar, third-party API integrations - Genuine interest in the creator economy, TikTok Shop, or commerce ## How we work Small team, direct communication, no bureaucracy.
