Founding Engineer - ChipperSitter

## About the role Create the next Uber for childcare. ChipperSitter is building a faster, safer, more reliable way for parents to find trusted childcare when they need it most. We're looking for a Founding Engineer who wants to build from the ground up: marketplace infrastructure, parent and sitter matching, scheduling, payments, trust and safety, mobile-first user flows, and AI-powered automation. This is not a maintenance role. This is a builder role. You'll work directly with the founder to turn ChipperSitter into a real platform parents can depend on. ## What you'll build - A modern childcare marketplace connecting parents with trusted sitters - Real-time booking, availability, and scheduling systems - Parent and sitter onboarding flows - Payments, reviews, verification, and safety features - AI-assisted matching and automation tools - Scalable architecture for city-by-city growth ## Who we're looking for You're a full-stack engineer who can move fast, solve problems independently, and think like a founder. You care about product, speed, users, and building something that can become massive.
