## About the Role
MYLO is a loyalty intelligence platform built in Dubai. We unify UAE loyalty balances across airlines, banks, retail, telcos, and hospitality into a single AED-denominated dashboard, and tell users exactly which card earns most at any merchant, in real time. Learn more at mrmylo.com.
The founder built the MVP solo before raising. MYLO is pre-launch, MVP-complete, and fundraising. The codebase is real and in production: a live API server, a live B2B partner portal, two web properties, and a cross-platform iOS and Android app. 190 tests passing. 12 shipped modules.
We need a founding-level technical owner to take this through commercial launch, Phase 2 product expansion, and international rollout across the GCC and LATAM.
This is not a senior developer hire. You will code, architect, hire, and govern.
## The Stack
Mobile: React Native, Expo, Redux Toolkit, TypeScript — full Arabic RTL support, EAS Build for App Store and Play Store.
Backend: Node.js, Express, TypeScript on Railway. Prisma ORM + PostgreSQL via Supabase. Redis. Supabase Auth with Row-Level Security. Live loyalty API integration (23 UAE programmes). UAE open banking integration. Stripe billing.
Web: Next.js 15 (consumer, mrmylo.com) + Next.js 14 (B2B partner portal, mrmylo.io). Vercel. PostHog and Mixpanel analytics.
## What You Will Own
Phase 1 — Commercial launch: App Store and Play Store submission, live Stripe payments, first B2B partner onboarding.
Phase 2 — Product expansion: Background geofencing with real-time spend alerts, camera-first AR overlay for merchant recommendations, goal-based redemption visualisation, referral programme with in-app mechanics.
Phase 3 — Regional expansion: GCC rollout (KSA, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar), LATAM market entry starting with Mexico, Spanish localisation pipeline, enterprise white-label platform, e-commerce checkout integrations.
## Required
* 7 to 12 years engineering experience, minimum 3 in a lead or architect role owning production systems.
* Technical: React Native + Expo (shipped to App Store and Play Store), Node.js + TypeScript + PostgreSQL, Next.js full-stack, Supabase Auth + RLS, Redis, Stripe subscriptions and webhooks, i18n in production.
* Leadership: End-to-end product lifecycle ownership. Autonomous trade-off decisions. Founder mindset — decisive, velocity-first, accountable without escalation.
## Nice to Have
* Loyalty, fintech, open banking, or subscription consumer app experience.
* Arabic RTL or Spanish LATAM experience.
* GCC regulatory context (UAE PDPL, DIFC DPL 2020).
* Geofencing or computer vision.
* Ex-Careem, Ex-Talabat, Ex-Noon, or UAE fintech background.
## What We Offer
We offer two tracks — the founding technical owner track is what we are hiring for:
**Founding Technical Owner (preferred):**
* Base: AED 40,000 / month, stepping to AED 50,000 at Series A close or first 5 B2B partners signed
* Equity: 1.5% to 2.0%, 4-year vest, 1-year cliff
* Bonus: 10 to 20% annual
**Cash-priority alternative:**
* Base: AED 55,000 / month (fixed)
* Equity: 0.75%
Remote candidates compensated at market rate for their location.
* Relocation: AED 10,000 to 20,000 if applicable, visa + medical included.
* Learning budget: AED 5,000 to 10,000 per year.
* Hardware provided.
