Technical Co-Founder - Private Markets LP Tech Platform

## About the role Private Equity LPs control the purse string to $20 trillion of capital. As passive investors at the very top of the ecosystem, this group of investors have access to the richest data set of all; they are sitting on a gold mine. However, a shortage of technical solutions, and overwhelming volume of messy, unstructured data means valuable information remains locked up across disparate sources. As a result, investment decision making remains highly anecdotal. This has a real impact on returns, with small incremental performance improvements generating huge value at the industry level (+50bps = $100bn). Downstream of this, a lack of technical sophistication means LPs often don't really know what they own. Daily processes, which largely involve manipulating or making decisions using this data, are very painful and inefficient. We are fixing this, building the first AI driven operating system for the private equity LP; bringing all information together in one place, using intelligence to structure it, and creating a living and breathing 'universe model' that enables LPs to unlock the value of their data for the very first time. We are private equity LPs ourselves and know the pain. We have validated the problem with early customers and friends in our network. We are seeking a full stack software engineer to be a true member of the founding team as we come to the end of the prototyping stage and start VC / angel / family office investor discussions. ## About the company This is an exciting opportunity to work closely on a real industry level problem, alongside a top tier team (top tier investment banking, private equity, unicorn experience). We are looking for someone driven and serious about starting a business, that has already made the decision to become an entrepreneur but is looking for the right opportunity.
