## About the role Cleverstreet | Internal Product | Early-Stage AI Hiring Infrastructure Cleverstreet is building an ecosystem of AI-powered products across entertainment, media, automation, and hiring. One of our internal products is ZeroApply — an AI-driven hiring pipeline system designed to help Cleverstreet source, evaluate, communicate with, and manage candidates more intelligently. We are looking for a Founding Engineer to help build ZeroApply from the ground up. This is not a normal engineering role. This is for someone who wants to help create the internal hiring intelligence layer that powers how Cleverstreet finds and scales talent across multiple companies, products, and creative divisions. ## About ZeroApply ZeroApply is being built to solve a real operational problem: hiring is slow, noisy, repetitive, and often broken. Cleverstreet is growing across multiple verticals, including AI filmmaking, software, media, production, sales, and operations. We need a smarter system to manage candidate discovery, applications, outreach, screening, ranking, workflows, and follow-up. ZeroApply will become the internal hiring pipeline engine for Cleverstreet — and potentially much more over time. ## What You'll Build You will help design and develop the core ZeroApply platform, including: - Candidate intake and application workflows - AI-assisted candidate screening and ranking - Hiring pipeline dashboards - Recruiter/admin tools - Automated email and communication flows - Job post and role management - Candidate matching logic - Internal hiring analytics - Workflow automation for Cleverstreet's hiring process - Integrations with email, forms, databases, and future ATS-style tools You should be comfortable moving fast, making product decisions, and building practical systems that work in the real world. ## What We're Looking For We are looking for a founding-level engineer who can operate with ownership. You should be strong in: - Full-stack product development - Frontend and backend architecture - AI/API integrations - Database design - Automation workflows - Clean, scalable engineering - Shipping quickly without needing constant hand-holding - Turning vague product ideas into working software Bonus points if you have experience with: - AI agents - Hiring/recruiting software - Applicant tracking systems - CRM-style products - Email automation - Workflow automation - Data pipelines - Startups or zero-to-one product development ## Tech Stack We are open to the right stack, but ideal experience includes: - React / Next.js - Node.js or Python - PostgreSQL / Supabase / Firebase - OpenAI or other AI model APIs - Automation tools and APIs - Cloud deployment exp
