Founding Engineer

## About the role We're building the protocol layer for how AI agents interact with enterprise systems — and we're looking for a founding engineer to co-lead that effort alongside our CTO. This isn't a "join and execute" role. You'll have direct ownership over architecture decisions, open source strategy, and enterprise adoption from day one. ## Responsibilities - Core protocol design for agent-native APIs (tool calling, semantic schemas, lifecycle management) - Enterprise-grade infrastructure: auth, governance, observability, multi-tenancy - SDKs and integration primitives that developers actually want to use - The technical narrative that drives adoption — docs, specs, community ## Requirements - Strong backend and distributed systems background — Go, Python, or Node - Deep experience with API design, semantic schemas, LLM agents, and tool calling - Solid command of auth (OAuth, OIDC, RBAC), security, and enterprise infra patterns - Track record shipping: open source projects with real adoption, or B2B infra products - Fluent in Portuguese or Spanish It's a differentiating factor. ## What we offer - Meaningful equity — co-founder level, not employee-level - Greenfield technical scope: you shape the stack and the roadmap - A market segment (enterprise AI infra) with structural demand and few credible players ## Who this is NOT for - Someone looking for a defined spec to implement.
