## About the Role We are hiring a Senior Backend Architect to own the core network routing and database infrastructure for a 6-week sprint. You will build the FastAPI layer that catches inbound WhatsApp webhooks and triggers outbound Twilio dispatches. You will interface seamlessly with our dedicated AI engineer who handles the audio extraction. ## The Mission AASIOM is building the RAKSHA engine—a Phase 1 MVP for an AI-powered emergency dispatch system on the Western Express Highway. We are cutting accident response times from 23 minutes to under 60 seconds. ## Responsibilities - Build the FastAPI layer that catches inbound WhatsApp webhooks and triggers outbound Twilio dispatches. - Interface seamlessly with the dedicated AI engineer who handles the audio extraction. - Design strict PostgreSQL (Supabase) transaction locks to handle duplicate crash reports hitting the server in the exact same millisecond. - Ensure the entire pipeline meets a 60-second latency target by keeping routing and DB writes from adding overhead to the AI inference time. - Utilize deep experience with Python asyncio and background tasks to prevent blocking the event loop. ## Architectural Constraints - **Absolute Idempotency**: WhatsApp webhooks frequently misfire. You must design strict PostgreSQL (Supabase) transaction locks to handle duplicate crash reports hitting the server in the exact same millisecond. Zero duplicate ambulance dispatches. - **Sub-Second Network Overhead**: The entire pipeline is bound by a 60-second latency target. Your routing and DB writes must not add overhead to the AI inference time. - **Pure Async**: Deep experience with Python asyncio and background tasks is required to prevent blocking the event loop. ## Requirements - Deep experience with Python asyncio and background tasks. - Ability to design strict PostgreSQL (Supabase) transaction locks. - Proficiency in building FastAPI layers. - Experience interfacing with Twilio dispatches. ## Nice to Have - Skills in partnership, 70 partnership, 15 partner, Private Limited, Limited, Marathi. ## What We Offer - Remote (India) - Contract - Compensation: ₹80k – ₹1.2L ## About the Company AASIOM is building the RAKSHA engine—a Phase 1 MVP for an AI-powered emergency dispatch system on the Western Express Highway. We are cutting accident response times from 23 minutes to under 60 seconds. ## To Apply Start your application with the word "RAKSHA". Tell me exactly how you implement pessimistic database locks in PostgreSQL to handle a race condition where the exact same webhook payload arrives three times in two seconds.
