Senior Mobile App Developer — Build Sniff's Pet Care App (Contract → Potential Full-Time)

## About the Role This is a contract engagement, to design and build Sniff's MVP mobile app from scratch. If the working relationship clicks and the product takes off, this can convert to a full-time founding engineer role. You'll choose the stack, shaping the architecture, and shipping a polished v1 to the App Store and Play Store. You'll work directly with the founder (no middle layer, no committee). ## What You'll Build - A consumer mobile app for iOS and Android (stack is your call, React Native, Flutter, or native) - Core flows: user onboarding, pet profiles, in-app content, and one or two transactional features - Backend integration, authentication, push notifications, basic analytics - Clean, maintainable code with documentation so the next engineer (possibly you, full-time) can build on it ## Who We're Looking For - 5+ years building consumer mobile apps that have actually shipped to production - At least one app in your portfolio you can point to in the App Store or Play Store - Strong opinions on architecture, testing, and shipping discipline - Comfortable making product calls, not just executing tickets, this is a founder-and-engineer setup - Bonus: experience with early-stage / 0-to-1 products, D2C or consumer brands, or pet-tech ## What We Offer - Contract fee: competitive, paid monthly against milestones (open to discussion based on scope) - Direct line to the founder; fast decisions, no bureaucracy - Path to a full-time founding engineer role - Remote accepted, India-based team
