Backend Developer

## About the role We are looking for a motivated and curious software development engineer I (SDE I) to join our engineering team. As an SDE I, you will work alongside experienced engineers on production-grade systems, gain hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices, and support machine learning integrations. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build strong backend fundamentals while also getting early exposure to DevOps and real-world ML applications. ## Responsibilities - Assist in designing and building scalable APIs and backend services. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in Python (Django/Flask) and JavaScript (Node.js). - Participate in code reviews and help improve system design and performance. - Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including schema changes and optimization. - Help maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. - Hands-on with containerization (Docker) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Digital Ocean). - Monitor application health, log performance metrics, and contribute to reliability improvements. - Support integration of ML models and APIs (e.g., OpenCV, LLMs like OpenAI). - Assist in model deployment, testing, and performance tuning in production environments. - Collaborate with ML engineers and gain exposure to real-world machine learning systems. ## Requirements - will be graduated in the year of 2027 and later - has minimum 6 months of technical internship experience - are available for the work from home job/internship for duration of 6 months - can start the work from home job/internship immediately - can give 42 hours per week to the internship - have relevant skills and interests
