We are looking for a proactive and ownership-driven DevOps Engineer who can work closely with product, engineering, and AI teams to build reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure across all our products. ## Role Overview As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, automating, deploying, monitoring, and optimizing cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD systems for our AI platforms. You should be someone who: - Takes ownership of systems and infrastructure - Proactively identifies bottlenecks and improvements - Understands product responsibility beyond deployments - Can work independently in a fast-moving startup environment - Collaborates closely with developers, ML engineers, and leadership - Is comfortable handling production systems and scaling challenges ## Key Responsibilities - Build, maintain, and optimize scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS - Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and containerized workloads - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions - Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform - Manage Docker-based application deployments and container orchestration - Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability systems - Implement infrastructure security best practices and access controls - Optimize deployment workflows, system reliability, and uptime - Collaborate with AI/ML teams for model deployment and inference infrastructure - Manage AWS services including Lambda, ECR, EC2, IAM, VPC, S3, CloudWatch, etc. - Participate in incident management, debugging, and root-cause analysis - Improve infrastructure scalability, performance, and cost optimization - Contribute to architecture discussions and infrastructure strategy ## Required Skills ### Must-Have Technologies - Docker - Kubernetes (EKS preferred) - Terraform - AWS Cloud Services - CI/CD Pipelines - GitLab CI/CD - GitHub Actions - AWS Lambda - ECR - Linux System Administration - Shell/Bash Scripting - Networking Fundamentals - Monitoring & Logging Tools ### Good to Have - Helm Charts - ArgoCD - Prometheus & Grafana - NGINX / Ingress Controllers - Redis / Kafka basics - Infrastructure Security Best Practices - Python scripting - Experience supporting AI/ML workloads - Experience with GPU infrastructure - Multi-region deployments ## What We Offer - Opportunity to work on cutting-edge multilingual speech AI systems - Access to large proprietary audio datasets - Freedom to experiment, research, and build production-grade AI infrastructure - High-impact role with ownership and leadership opportunities - Collaborative and innovation-driven work environment - Fast learning and growth opportunities - Exposure to enterprise-scale AI deployments - Opportunity to directly influence architecture and platform decisions ## Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: - Thinks beyond assigned tasks - Takes initiative without waiting for instructions - Understands accountability and system ownership - Is excited about solving infrastructure and scaling challenges - Can communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical teams - Enjoys working in startup environments with high ownership - Is passionate about automation, reliability, and performance ## Preferred Experience - 2+ years of hands-on DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure experience - Experience working in startups or fast-paced engineering teams - Experience deploying production applications on AWS - Experience managing Kubernetes workloads in production - Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure is a strong plus
