## About the Role - Own the Core Engine: Take absolute ownership of the native desktop architecture (Rust/Tauri) and optimize global low-latency hooks (Accessibility/Input Monitoring). - Scale the Edge Framework: Architect and scale our Supabase edge functions, database indexing, and transient transformation caching pipeline. - Feature Velocity: Lead the engineering execution for complex agentic features, multi-device sync, and local-first data isolation. - Harden the Perimeter: Build institutional-grade security protocols for local unencrypted history buffers and secure cloud synchronization. ## Who You Are - The Systems Native: You have deep experience building native desktop software (Rust, Tauri, C++, or Go) and understand the intricacies of low-level macOS system APIs. - Pragmatic Builder: You value shipping over pure academic perfection. You appreciate the speed of AI-assisted prototyping but know exactly when and how to refactor code into production-grade, highly optimized architecture. - Local-First Advocate: You understand the balance between ultra-low latency local memory states and secure, distributed cloud synchronization (Supabase/Postgres). - The Co-Founder Mindset: You want to build a foundational engineering culture from the ground up.
