As an AI/ML Engineer, you'll join a small, high-impact team focused on building the AI foundation that will power AI Broker's future products and internal systems. Your work will directly shape the experience for early users and help define how AI Broker scales. ## Responsibilities - Partner with product, design, and engineering to identify high-impact AI/ML opportunities. - Prototype and productionize AI systems that feel simple on the surface but do serious work underneath—recommendations, natural language interfaces, agentic workflows, and decision-support systems. - Develop and scale AI/ML infrastructure powering both internal tools and customer-facing features. - Solve novel UX and systems problems at the intersection of AI, finance, automation, and product design. - Help define the long-term AI architecture and technical direction of the company. ## Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience building and deploying production-grade AI/ML systems. - Deep knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and applied AI. - Experience across the full ML lifecycle: data curation, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring. - A track record of shipping complex systems, whether in recommendations, search, language systems, automation, or similarly challenging domains. - Experience adapting or training foundation models, language models, or multimodal systems for real-world applications. - Comfort working in ambiguous, early-stage startup environments with high ownership. ## Nice to have - You've built agents that can plan, reason, and use tools. - You're comfortable with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. - You've worked at a startup or helped build a product from 0 to 1. - You have experience with financial products, market data, or decision-support systems. ## What we offer - This is an equity-only role. - Compensation is provided in the form of founder-stage equity. - This role is best suited for someone excited about building at an early stage and sharing in the long-term upside of the company. ## About the company AI Broker is building the future of how people work with financial intelligence and automation.
