Our team is agile, collaborative, and passionate about technology, and we are looking for strong technical leaders who thrive in a high-ownership and fast-paced environment. ## About the role We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with 10+ years of experience in designing and building scalable backend systems and modern AI-powered applications. This is a pure IC (Individual Contributor) role focused on architecture, hands-on technical problem-solving, system scalability, backend engineering, and AI-driven solution development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python ecosystems, scalable architecture design, distributed systems, cloud-native applications, and modern AI/LLM-based technologies. You will work closely with engineering, product, and leadership teams to design robust, scalable, secure, and high-performing healthcare technology solutions. ## Key Responsibilities - Define and drive overall technical architecture and system design for scalable healthcare SaaS platforms. - Design and implement scalable backend systems using Python, Django, and FastAPI. - Architect secure, high-performance RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and microservices. - Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and engineering best practices. - Build and guide AI-powered application architecture using Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG pipelines, and orchestration frameworks. - Ensure application scalability, reliability, maintainability, security, and performance optimization. - Collaborate closely with product, engineering, DevOps, and leadership teams for solution planning and execution. - Mentor engineering teams on architecture principles, coding standards, and technical problem-solving. - Drive technical innovation and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and AI capabilities. - Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution. - Contribute to cloud infrastructure planning, deployment strategies, and DevOps alignment. - Establish engineering standards, architecture documentation, and development guidelines. ## Required Skills - 10+ years of software development and architecture experience. - Strong hands-on expertise in Python development. - Deep understanding of Django, FastAPI, and scalable backend frameworks. - Strong expertise in system design, distributed systems, and microservices architecture. - Experience designing scalable SaaS platforms and enterprise-grade applications. - Hands-on experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLM applications, RAG pipelines, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks. - Strong understanding of AI orchestration, prompt engineering, and AI integration patterns. - Expertise in PostgreSQL/MySQL, database optimization, and performance tuning. - Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API security, caching, and asynchronous processing. - Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Good understanding of DevOps fundamentals, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and deployment practices. - Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Deep understanding of design patterns, data structures, OOP concepts, and software engineering best practices. - Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience in the US Healthcare domain, EHR/EMR systems, HL7, or FHIR integrations is a plus. - Experience working with high-scale SaaS product companies or startup environments. - Prior experience leading architecture decisions across multiple engineering teams. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
