## About the Role We are an early-stage startup building a large-scale international digital platform in the content, social and creator services space. Our product is already functional and currently approaching launch-stage. We are looking for a long-term developer to join us in maintaining, improving and scaling the platform as we continue building. This is a technically complex product with many interconnected systems, real-world scaling challenges, sensitive user-facing areas and a strong focus on stability, security and long-term architecture. ## Tech Stack - Modern Frontend: TypeScript, React, and Next.js. We build type-safe, highly reactive, and lightning-fast user interfaces leveraging modern SSR/SSG capabilities. - Robust Backend: Python, Django, and Django REST Framework. Powering our clean, scalable business logic and well-structured, performant APIs. - Data & Performance: PostgreSQL for strict data integrity, combined with Redis and Celery for caching and seamlessly managing heavy, asynchronous background jobs. - Real-Time Systems: WebSockets for low-latency bidirectional communication. - Infrastructure & Scale: Cloud storage solutions and robust third-party API integrations. ## What We're Looking For We are looking for a developer who: - has strong practical fullstack development experience - can work independently in a remote environment - writes clean, maintainable and scalable code - communicates confidently in English (B2 level) - is proactive and ownership-minded - understands the importance of security, privacy and sensitive user-facing systems - enjoys solving complex product and infrastructure problems - is interested in long-term startup collaboration - Medior developers are welcome, but strong junior or senior candidates may also be considered depending on experience and mindset. We care more about technical competence, reliability, communication and problem-solving ability than traditional corporate background. ## Responsibilities - Develop and maintain frontend and backend platform features - Build and improve APIs, internal systems and admin/moderation tools - Work on authentication, account systems and user-related infrastructure - Improve platform stability, scalability and performance - Develop real-time functionality and background job systems - Leverage modern AI coding assistants and agentic workflows to accelerate development, debug complex issues, and streamline refactoring. - Collaborate directly with founders on product and technical decisions - Identify potential security, privacy or stability risks - Help shape long-term architecture and development direction ## The Platform The project is a complex international platform with many interconnected systems and high user-facing responsibility. Important areas include: - frontend user experience - backend architecture - moderation and trust & safety systems - authentication and account infrastructure - scalability and reliability - data privacy and platform security - internal admin and operational tooling Due to the current stage of development, detailed product information and platform access are shared later in the process under NDA. ## Nice To Have - experience with creator, social or community platforms - moderation or trust & safety related experience - experience handling large-scale user-facing systems - understanding of scalable backend architecture - startup or remote team experience - strong familiarity with AI-assisted development tools - experience with AI-driven automation tools or workflow builders. - experience with performance optimization and infrastructure scaling ## Work Setup - Fully remote - Full-time preferred - Flexible collaboration setup (contractor or employment possible) - Long-term collaboration - Direct communication and fast decision-making - High ownership and real product impact - We are also open to discussing equity participation for the right candidate. ## What Matters Most To Us We are looking for someone who wants to help build something ambitious long-term.
