Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble robot prototype systems and components using tools, 3D printing, soldering, and machining; Repair mechanical components such as actuators, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and moving parts; Repair electrical systems including wiring, circuits, power supplies, sensors, and control systems; Perform basic functional tests and troubleshooting failures to improve prototype designs; Collaborate with hardware design engineers to iterate designs based on experimental results and propose solutions for ease of assembly, repair, and maintenance
