Frontend engineer

## About the role We're looking for a Frontend Engineer to help build the platform experience brokers use to process MCA submissions, review files, manage teams, and submit deals to funders. You'll work on product UI, dashboards, workflows, forms, data-heavy screens, and customer-facing features that need to feel fast, clear, and polished. This is a hands-on role for someone who cares about building practical interfaces, reducing friction, and turning complex finance workflows into software people can actually move through quickly. ## What you'll work on - Build and maintain product UI with Next.js, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. - Create fast workflows for deal submission, application intake, bank statement review, and funder matching. - Build dashboards, tables, forms, filters, modals, onboarding flows, and team management screens. - Work closely with backend APIs, loading states, validation, error handling, and user permissions. - Improve performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and overall product polish. - Collaborate with product and backend to simplify complex MCA workflows. - Help shape frontend patterns, reusable components, and UI architecture as the platform grows. ## What we're looking for - Strong experience with React and modern JavaScript or TypeScript. - Experience with Next.js or similar React frameworks. - Comfortable building real product workflows, not just static pages. - Good eye for UI details, spacing, states, responsiveness, and interaction quality. - Comfortable working with APIs, async data, forms, tables, and complex state. - You can take ownership, communicate clearly, and ship features without needing every screen fully specified. - You care about making software feel simple even when the underlying workflow is complex. ## Nice to have - Experience with SaaS dashboards, fintech products, CRM-style tools, or operational software. - Familiarity with Tailwind CSS, component libraries, design systems, or frontend architecture. - Experience with permissions, organizations, teams, roles, or multi-tenant SaaS products. - Familiarity with performance optimization, accessibility, and testing. - Basic understanding of backend concepts and API design. ## Why this role matters MCA teams deal with messy applications, bank statements, funder criteria, and high-volume workflows. The frontend is where all of that complexity either slows users down or gets out of their way. Your work will help brokers process more files, understand each deal, and close more deals.
