## About the role We are building a research-driven AI Lab to solve some of the most challenging problems in Fintech—Credit Risk, Fraud Detection, and Underwriting—using cutting-edge AI and large language models. We're looking for a Head of AI to lead this effort end-to-end: defining the research vision, building and mentoring a high-caliber team, and translating advanced research into production systems with real-world impact. ## What you'll own - Define and drive the AI/ML strategy and research roadmap for the organization - Build, lead, and mentor a high-performance team of researchers and engineers - Oversee development of LLM-driven systems and advanced ML models for fintech use cases - Ensure strong execution from research → production → scale - Establish best practices in model development, evaluation, and deployment - Represent the organization through publications, conferences, and thought leadership ## What we're looking for - Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering (Computer Science, AI, Electronics, or related fields) - 12–20 years of experience in AI/ML, with significant leadership and team management experience - Proven track record of building and scaling AI teams and production-grade ML systems - Strong foundation in machine learning, deep learning, and LLMs - Experience solving complex, high-impact problems—preferably in Fintech (Credit Risk, Fraud, Underwriting) - Ability to balance research depth with business impact and execution speed ## Leadership expectations - You operate as both a hands-on technical leader and a strategic decision-maker - You can hire, mentor, and retain top-tier talent - You set a high bar for technical excellence, ownership, and delivery ## Why this role - Opportunity to build and lead an AI Lab from the ground up - Direct influence on business-critical systems at scale - High autonomy to define team, roadmap, and research direction - Work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and real-world financial impact
