## About the Role This is not a "Head of Engineering" job. This is not a corporate CTO title with endless meetings and inherited problems. This is a rare founder seat. We are building MyLife: a financial decision infrastructure platform designed to become the operating system for personal financial decisions. Not another budgeting app. Not another generic AI wrapper. Not another wellness startup pretending to be fintech. This is infrastructure. A persistent financial intelligence platform that helps people make high-stakes decisions across income, debt, mortgages, pensions, savings, career choices, and life planning through deterministic financial modelling and trusted AI guidance. The market is massive. The problem is painfully real. The timing is now. I am looking for an exceptional CTO or Technical Co-Founder to build this with me. Someone who understands Architecture. State. Security. Behavioural retention. Someone who thinks in systems, not features. Someone who wants to build the category leader, not just ship another app. ## What You Will Own You will own the technical foundation of the business. Not just code. The company. You will design and lead: - Financial state engine (the truth layer) - AI guidance layer (intelligence, not hype) - Product architecture across mobile/web platform - Security, privacy, auditability, and trust architecture from day one - Build vs buy decisions across auth, payments, analytics, Open Banking, LLM providers - Engineering hiring, delivery culture, technical standards, and execution discipline - Dev, staging, production environments - CI/CD, observability, monitoring, resilience, and incident process You will be a genuine strategic partner in building the company, not an employee. This is founder territory.
