AWS DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure

## About the Role We are looking for a skilled AWS DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available AWS based systems. You will work closely with development teams to ensure seamless deployments, system reliability, and performance optimization. ## Key Responsibilities - Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure (ECS, Fargate, EC2, S3, API Gateway) - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines - Deploy and manage containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes) - Implement event driven systems (Kinesis/Kafka) - Monitor systems using CloudWatch and ensure high availability - Manage databases (AWS Aurora PostgreSQL / RDS) - Ensure security and performance optimization ## Technical Skills ### Must Have - 4+ years of DevOps / Cloud experience - Strong expertise in AWS (ECS, Fargate, EC2, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudFront) - Experience with Kubernetes and Docker - Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) - Experience in CI/CD pipelines - Hands on experience with Kinesis or Kafka - Experience with AWS Aurora PostgreSQL / RDS - Strong fundamentals in networking (VPC, Load Balancer, WAF) - Experience in monitoring and logging (CloudWatch or similar tools) - Strong Linux and scripting knowledge (Shell / Python). - Experience in optimizing AWS cost using best practices such as autoscaling, resource rightsizing, and monitoring - Strong understanding of AWS security, including IAM, WAF, network security, and data protection ### Nice to Have - AWS Certification (Associate / Professional) - Experience with microservices architecture - Exposure to DevSecOps practices - Experience in AWS cost optimization - Experience with CDN and caching (CloudFront) - Familiarity with infrastructure security best practices ## What You Bring - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills - Ability to work independently with ownership - Experience handling production environments and incidents - Good understanding of system reliability and scalability - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to work in fast paced environments - Focus on automation and continuous improvement - Strong DevOps mindset (not just tool based execution) ## Values & Culture - Product Mindset - Engineers focus on system reliability, scalability, and business impact not just deployments - Ownership - Take full responsibility for infrastructure, uptime, and production stability - Craftsmanship - Ensure clean architecture, optimized performance, and scalable cloud solutions
