## About the Role We're looking for a Shopify Developer Intern who can analyze and audit Shopify stores and websites to identify issues in user experience, performance, and conversions, wants to gain real-world experience working on live e-commerce stores. This is a learning-first, mentorship-driven role where you'll work on Shopify themes, improve existing stores, and support development tasks while learning how real-world Shopify development works. ## Responsibilities - Work on Shopify themes and customize layouts, sections, and pages - Modify existing code using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript - Fix UI issues and improve responsiveness across devices - Implement design changes based on UI/UX requirements - Optimize website performance and loading speed - Debug and fix minor issues in Shopify stores - Assist in adding new features and enhancements - Document development tasks and follow best practices ## What You'll Learn - Shopify theme structure and customization - Working with Liquid (Shopify templating language) - Real-world e-commerce development workflows - Debugging and performance optimization - Collaboration with design and product teams ## Training & Mentorship - Structured onboarding with step-by-step guidance - Hands-on training in Shopify and Liquid - Support in understanding and modifying existing code - Access to resources, templates, and best practices - Weekly feedback sessions and mentorship ## Requirements - Basic understanding of HTML and CSS - Interest in Shopify / e-commerce development - Willingness to learn and work on real tasks - Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset - Ability to follow structured tasks and feedback ## Good to Have - Basic knowledge of JavaScript - Exposure to Shopify or any CMS - Understanding of responsive web design - Any personal projects or portfolio ## Internship Structure - Months 1–3: Training Phase - Months 4–6: Paid stipend (₹5,000–₹15,000/month) - PPO based on performance ## Perks & Benefits - Internship Certificate (3 months + completion) - Letter of Recommendation (LOR) - PPO / Full-time opportunity - Real project experience (not dummy work) - Mentorship + structured feedback - Exposure to real Shopify stores and use cases ## Stipend - Months 1–3: Training Phase - Months 4–6: ₹5,000–₹15,000/month ## Working Hours - Remote | Full-time (preferred) | Aligned with IST (UTC +5:30) ## Ideal Candidate Someone who is curious about Shopify development, enjoys working on websites, and is eager to learn by building and improving real e-commerce stores. ## How to Apply Share a brief note on your interest along with any projects or portfolio (if available).
