## About the role We're a cross-partisan civic media and events company looking for a sharp, self-directed intern to own our content engine end-to-end. If you live on TikTok, have a point of view on what makes content work, and are excited about building AI-powered workflows from scratch, read on. ## Responsibilities - Capture content at all NYC events (mandatory, ~2x per month, in-person) — this is non-negotiable. You'll be on the ground with a camera/phone capturing footage, interviews, and B-roll. - Edit and distribute that content across TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn — tailored to each platform's format and audience. - Post daily across all three channels, maintaining a consistent voice and cadence. - Build AI automation and a repeatable content framework — set up tools and workflows (e.g., transcription, captioning, cutdowns, scheduling) so the system scales without scaling headcount. ## Requirements - Are based in NYC and can reliably attend evening/weekend events - Have a strong portfolio of short-form video editing (CapCut, Premiere, or similar) - Understand platform-native content — not just reposting the same clip three times - Are fluent with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Descript, Opus Clip, etc.) and excited to experiment - Work independently, move fast, and document what you build ## Bonus - Interest in politics, media, or civic engagement - Experience growing a social account (yours or a brand's) ## What we offer - Part-time, paid, hybrid with mandatory in-person event coverage in NYC.
