Junior Data Scientist

## About the role Albeado has an opening for a junior or entry level data scientist to help devise solutions with data sets across multiple domains. The role will encompass statistical analysis, general machine learning techniques, forecasting, predictive modeling, business rules and graph methodologies. You should be comfortable creating prototype modeling systems using a scripting language such as python. ## Responsibilities - Devise solutions with data sets across multiple domains - Perform statistical analysis - Apply general machine learning techniques - Conduct forecasting and predictive modeling - Implement business rules and graph methodologies - Create prototype modeling systems using a scripting language such as python ## Requirements - Advanced degree in applied statistics, mathematics, physics, econometrics or computer science (Master's degree in CS or mathematical/physics sciences, PhD preferred) - 1+ years' experience in advanced analytics, and model building such as Random Forests, Neural Nets and Support Vector machines - Ability to create prototype modeling and solutions in python with sklearn, or have equivalent experience in R, Octave or Matlab - Ability to work with real time streams and big data platforms like storm, or spark - Ability to use SQL or similar procedural languages ## What we offer - Opportunity to work on data sets across multiple domains - Exposure to statistical analysis, general machine learning techniques, forecasting, predictive modeling, business rules and graph methodologies
