## About the Role We are hiring a DevOps Engineer III to help define, build, and scale the infrastructure backbone of our platform. This role is central to shaping our automation strategy, cloud architecture, and release processes as we grow. You will drive improvements in reliability, scalability, and operational excellence while enabling engineering teams to ship faster and more securely. This is a high-impact, hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise and close collaboration across teams building AI-driven healthcare systems. ## Key Responsibilities - Identify infrastructure gaps and design scalable, long-term platform solutions - Define and implement automated build and deployment best practices - Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent) - Architect and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP, VPCs, networking) - Lead containerization and orchestration efforts (Docker, Kubernetes) - Optimize and evolve CI/CD pipelines and release automation - Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems - Partner with engineering teams to ensure reliable, secure production deployments - Contribute to build vs buy vs open-source tooling decisions - Support high-availability systems, incident response, and operational readiness - Participate in technical planning and roadmap discussions ## Requirements - 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE - 2+ years of hands-on experience with Python scripting or automation - Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) - Solid Linux/Unix systems administration background - Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using open-source tools - Deep experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) - Hands-on experience with AWS and/or GCP - Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks - Familiarity with modern release engineering practices and tools - Excellent collaboration and communication skills in fast-paced environments
