Our team of about 20 is expanding, and we're looking for builders excited to shape the future of product storytelling. ## About the role We're looking for product-minded AI Engineers excited to push the boundaries of AI. You'll work across advanced prompting strategies, retrieval-augmented generation, context orchestration, and dynamic model routing to create intelligent, multimodal experiences. Your work will power interactive demos as well other rich media workflows that feel magical to end users. As part of a small, fast-moving team, you'll collaborate tightly with design and engineering to prototype novel capabilities and own them through to production. ## Responsibilities - Work across advanced prompting strategies, retrieval-augmented generation, context orchestration, and dynamic model routing to create intelligent, multimodal experiences. - Power interactive demos as well other rich media workflows that feel magical to end users. - Collaborate tightly with design and engineering to prototype novel capabilities. - Own capabilities through to production. ## Requirements - 5+ years experience in software engineering and/or AI. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Experience building and maintaining production systems within AI/LLM contexts. - Ability to work with LLM pipelines, vector search, agent frameworks, and/or multimodal tools. - Experience optimizing applications to perform at their best. ## Nice to have - Typescript - Next.js - React - Experimentation - Security ## What we offer - Be part of a small, highly technical team where engineers ship bold ideas end-to-end. - Work in a culture that values openness, ownership, collaboration, and kindness. - Enjoy perks like unlimited PTO, rich health/401(k) plans, meeting-light culture, remote stipend, and biannual retreats. - Enjoy working on site in San Francisco on Tuesdays and Thursdays. - Compensation: $130k-$265k, plus meaningful equity. ## Our values - **Be a coach**: We want the best for our customers and ourselves.
