## About the role One hire. You work directly with the founder to (a) build the AI-native research and workflow stack that powers everything we do, and (b) help analyse real deals and positions we put capital into. This is not a research engineer role tucked in a corner. You sit next to live portfolio decisions, hear how memos get written, understand how deals actually close, and then ship the agents and pipelines that make the whole thing faster and sharper. ## Responsibilities - Design and ship LLM-powered agents and pipelines: earnings transcript analysis, data room summarisation, sentiment monitoring, IC memo drafting, private company diligence, estimate revision tracking, whatever moves the needle. Pick the tools (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, custom MCP servers, anything that works). - Scrape, clean, and structure financial data from filings, transcripts, alt data, and private market sources. - Build evaluation and monitoring into every agent so outputs are trustworthy enough to drive real decisions. - Sit in on investment discussions. Read the memos. Form your own views. Bring them to the table. Over time, own research sleeves end to end. - Help manage a small portfolio of public positions alongside the founder. - Spot the bottlenecks in how we work and automate them away. ## Requirements - Technically strong. You write good Python. You've built and shipped things with LLM APIs and agent frameworks. Your GitHub or portfolio proves it. - Market-obsessed. You read 10-Ks for fun. You have opinions on individual stocks you'd defend in an argument. You know what an EBITDA multiple is and why it matters. You follow Fintwit, not just AI Twitter. - A generalist mind. You're as comfortable reading a shareholder agreement as debugging an async pipeline. You learn fast and you like the learning. - Scrappy and autonomous. You don't wait for a Jira ticket. You notice what's broken or slow, and you fix it. ## Nice to have - Prior time in investment banking, PE, hedge fund research, quant trading, or a fintech product/engineering role. - CFA or progress toward one. - A track record of building in public. ## What we offer - Location: Dubai, UAE (on-site).
