India, the US, and the UK. ## About the Role We're hiring a Senior Backend Engineer who's ready to do more than just ship features. If you've worked on real, production-grade projects, love building beautiful, performant UIs, and are hungry to grow your scope, this is for you. This is a high-ownership role — you'll work directly with the founders, manage juniors, and play a key role in shaping how engineering is done at EPYC. ## Location and Team Details * Location: Remote/Hybrid – Near Delhi * Work Hours: 10 AM – 7 PM IST * Team: Engineering * Reports to: Founder & CTO * Type: Full-Time ## What You'll Do ### Project Scoping * Work with founders to define project scope, assess development feasibility, and assist in gathering requirements. ### Backend Development * Build modern UIs using React; ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and performance; improve the software development process. ### Project Ownership * Own delivery timelines and quality; break down work, estimate tasks, and drive execution. ### AI & Innovation * Champion the use of AI in UI/UX, testing, and automation; stay updated and experiment with new approaches. ### Communication * Explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients; handle ambiguous requirements; participate in client calls when needed. ### Team Leadership * Mentor junior developers; plan their tasks and track progress. ### Execution Mindset * Move fast when required, while knowing when to prioritize robustness and scalability. ## Who You Are ### Must-Haves * Minimum 3 years of continuous experience (Excluding Internship) * Has deployed live projects to production * Strong JS fundamentals and ReactJS expertise * AI experimentation experience. * Clear communicator with an ownership mindset * Passionate about technology and always exploring * Street-smart, accountable, and outcome-driven. ### Bonus Points For * DevOps and frontend exposure * Familiarity with no-code tools * Comfort with Linux or Mac ## How You Work We love engineers who: * Are quality-obsessed and process-minded * Take initiative to improve systems or workflows * Learn proactively and stay curious * Want to grow into leadership roles, not stay static ## Why Join Us * You'll expand your skills across Backend, AI, and product thinking * Get to manage a team early and shape the engineering culture * Directly work with co-founders and have decision-making influence * Path to become Tech Lead, second only to CTO * Super high-growth if you show the drive and accountability ## How to Apply Please fill out the application form here. https://binary.so/zPrBZLg
