## About the Role We're looking to hire our first Product Manager to join our team at Basestation. In this role, you will work closely with our Founder, CTO, and engineering team to shape the operating system for the waste industry. Primary responsibilities include: - Owning the product lifecycle from discovery and definition through launch and iteration - Translating customer problems and business goals into a clear, prioritized product roadmap - Working closely with our Founder and CTO to define and execute on the product vision - Partnering with engineering to write specs, define acceptance criteria, and ship high-quality features - Conducting customer interviews and synthesizing feedback to inform product decisions ## About You - 2+ years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally at a B2B SaaS company - Proven ability to define and prioritize a product roadmap against competing demands - Experience conducting user research and translating insights into product requirements - Comfort working closely with engineers – you understand technical tradeoffs and can speak their language. An ability to read code or a background in software development is a bonus, but what matters most is your ability to work collaboratively with engineers - Familiarity with product analytics tools and a habit of using data to drive decisions - Experience working in an early-stage or resource-constrained environment where you wore many hats You are also someone who is: - Intellectually curious - Obsessed with product quality and user experience - Not afraid to ask questions – or challenge assumptions - Deeply empathetic to users and their day-to-day pain points - Biased to action
