Backend Developer Intern

## About the Role We are looking for a motivated Backend Intern to support our engineering team in building scalable backend systems. This is a 6-month internship, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance, even before the completion of the internship period. You will work closely with senior engineers to assist in API development, feature building, and performance improvements—making it an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Python and Django. ## Key Responsibilities - Assist in developing RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework - Support in writing clean, efficient, and well-tested code - Help optimize database queries and understand schema design - Assist in debugging and resolving technical issues - Participate in code reviews and team discussions - Collaborate with teams on feature development and deployment - Support application deployment and monitoring - Write basic unit and integration tests - Maintain documentation and follow best practices ## Required Skills & Qualifications - Basic knowledge of Python and Django - Understanding of RESTful APIs - Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL - Basic knowledge of Git - Willingness to learn debugging and problem-solving - Good communication skills ## Preferred Skills (Good to Have) - Basic exposure to AWS - Familiarity with Docker or CI/CD concepts - Awareness of tools like Redis or Celery - Basic understanding of system design ## What We Offer - Learning-focused and collaborative environment - Mentorship from experienced engineers - Hands-on project experience - Internship stipend and growth opportunities 🚀
