## About the Role Postie.com is seeking a creative thinking, dynamic and visionary data scientist to help Postie, Inc. lead data science research and implementation as we disrupt the logistics, prediction and measurement of a $30 billion industry. ## Why This Role Is Important Postie is leading innovation within the established and massive offline media world. These clients represent some of the most recognizable brands in the world as well as highly disruptive direct-to-consumer brands you know and love. Postie's DNA is data first. We believe our core product is the output of the machine learning and algorithmic processing and you will help bring this to reality. ## What You'll Learn, Teach Us, Implement, and Work On - Leverage state-of-the-art ML architectures—ranging from deep ensembles to transformer variants and distributional reinforcement-learning agents—to power new products. - Own discovery end-to-end: surface high-impact questions from billions of events, cast them as solvable ML tasks, and prototype answers before they're asked. - Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in AI. Research and present new ideas to improve the team's technical capabilities. - Optimize real-time auction strategy: build models that bid intelligently in a high-throughput, millisecond-level marketplace. - Collaborate with various teams (e.g., engineering, customer success, sales, operations) to develop exciting features and translate business objectives into robust AI/ML solutions. - Translate raw campaign results into clear, actionable insights that partners can immediately leverage. - Learn/Expertise in Python, PyTorch, and PySpark. - Learn/Experience working with AWS and GCP. ## Who we are Postie's software solution allow marketers to manage and scale effective offline marketing initiatives through data science, automation and measurement tools.
