Responsibilities
Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity goals; Ensure production activities involving organic and inorganic chemistry are executed according to approved procedures; Promote a strong safety culture and maintain compliance with environmental health and safety requirements; Partner with Quality Control and Assurance to resolve production issues and maintain process integrity; Identify and lead improvements to reduce waste and increase productivity using lean and root cause analysis; Coach and develop production employees and frontline leaders; Use production and quality data to identify trends and communicate performance insights; Work cross-functionally with Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Engineering teams; Assess staffing and equipment availability to support production capability; Support accurate use of manufacturing systems and batch records.
