## What We're Building
AI agents for sustainable real estate. Our wedge: BREEAM certification, Europe's leading building standard. We ingest messy documents and turn them into evidence-linked actions, CFO-ready ROI, and credible credit uplift in weeks, not months.
The core technical challenge: buildings live in PDFs, floor plans, photos, and scanned certificates. Our pipeline reads, understands, and extracts structured data from all of it, including image understanding (floor plans, technical drawings, site photos) and standards extraction from dense regulatory documents, then maps findings to BREEAM credits automatically.
Simple flow: document in > AI parses text + images > structured evidence out > credit mapping > ROI/uplift plan > assessor-ready export. Deterministic finance.
The problem: 35M buildings in the EU need renovation by 2030. BREEAM is the language to improve them. TAM: EUR 5B.
Where we are now: about to start pilots. We need to ship, fast.
## Responsibilities
Own product engineering end-to-end. Set technical direction, ship PoC to production SaaS, build the first engineering team. Co-founder level with meaningful equity.
First 12 months:
- Ship v1 to production and onboard first 2-3 paying pilots
- Make document ingestion rock-solid across PDFs, images, floor plans, and scanned docs
- Build accuracy infrastructure: gold test sets, dashboards, release gates
- Secure the platform with RBAC, audit trails, GDPR compliance, and enterprise-readiness
- Deliver recurring value through alerts, invoice QA, and CAPEX tracking
- Hire 1-2 engineers and establish a ship-every-week cadence
## Tech Stack
AI: Gemini + GPT for document understanding and image reasoning. LlamaIndex for retrieval. External YAML rulebook for BREEAM credit logic, versioned and auditable. No black boxes.
Frontend: Next.js 15, TypeScript strict, ShadCN UI, Tailwind.
Backend: Multi-tenant SaaS, RBAC, audit trails, GCP. Clean separation between AI reasoning and deterministic business logic.
## Requirements
- Shipped a B2B SaaS from v1 to GA with end-to-end ownership (5+ years)
- Led an AI/LLM-integrated product from prototype to production with evaluation
- Built multi-tenant systems with RBAC, auditability, and real on-call responsibility
- Worked in a small, high-performing founding team as both builder and leader
