Our Software Engineering team is dedicated to building the world's most predictive, inclusive, and fair interviewing products for our clients and technical candidates alike.
## Responsibilities
- This position requires a schedule that overlaps with U.S. business hours.
- Embrace AI-assisted development as a core part of your workflow; stay current with emerging techniques and contribute to evolving team practices.
- Design and build features across the full stack using a variety of programming languages, testing frameworks, and development tools.
- Write clean, scalable services, components, and APIs; make sound architectural decisions within your workstream.
- Own and deliver projects independently from design to release, including those with meaningful ambiguity and architectural complexity, with high-quality code and minimal defects.
- Take strong ownership of all code you touch, proactively improving quality rather than just meeting the immediate requirement.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Analysts, Data Scientists, Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers to define and deliver product features.
- Champion engineering best practices, including testing strategy, performance optimization, and technical debt management.
## Requirements
- 5+ years of professional (post-intern) experience designing and shipping web applications and distributed systems to production.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages (Ruby, Python, React, TypeScript/JavaScript) with solid command of web frameworks and design patterns across the stack.
- Experience with system architecture, database design, and API development (REST and/or GraphQL).
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and scalable deployment technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to navigate technical complexity and articulate trade-offs clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

- Interest in technical interviewing, talent assessment, or edtech.
## Location
This position is only available to candidates residing in Bengaluru (formerly known as Bangalore). While our team operates 100% remotely, we are currently limiting hiring to this specific location. Applications from other cities in India will not be considered at this time.
