## About the Role We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer to take a founding role in building a next-generation enterprise file protection platform. This is a hands-on technical leadership position focused on system architecture, low-level development, and cross-platform agent design. You will define the core architecture, write production code, and lead the technical direction of the platform. The ideal candidate has strong experience building complex Softwares, infrastructure, or cybersecurity products and can take ownership of the full platform. ## Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end architecture of the core platform and agent - Develop production-grade Go code for system, storage, and event pipeline components - Design cross-platform agent architecture (Windows / Linux / macOS) - Implement file system monitoring and event capture - Define coding standards and architecture decisions - Build high-performance, low-memory, reliable system components - Work closely with the founders on product and technical direction - Lead and mentor future engineers as the team grows - Ensure the system is ready for scale, stability, and security ## Requirements - 7+ years of software engineering experience - Strong experience with Go (Golang) - Experience with C / C++ - Strong understanding of Windows OS internals - Experience with NTFS / file metadata / USN Journal / ReadDirectoryChangesW - Experience working with Linux inotify and macOS FSEvents - Experience building system / infrastructure / security products - Experience building long-running services / agents / daemons - Experience designing logging / event / versioning systems - Strong understanding of performance, memory, and reliability - Ability to work independently in an early-stage environment ## Advantage - Experience with cybersecurity / endpoint / ransomware detection - Experience with SIEM integrations - Experience with gRPC / IPC / named pipes - Experience with file system drivers / minifilter - Experience in startup / founding engineer role - Experience with secure software delivery / code signing
