Senior Fullstack Software Engineer

## About the role Nezt is hiring a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time remote contractor basis. This role is suited to an experienced engineer who can work autonomously, take ownership of tasks, and deliver high-quality software in a fast-moving environment. The engineer will work directly with the team to build new features for the Nezt platform, which provides accommodation solutions for teams. We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, technically strong, and able to turn requirements and Figma designs into shipped product with minimal oversight. ## Responsibilities - Build and maintain fullstack product features for the Nezt platform - Implement user interfaces based on provided Figma designs - Develop frontend applications using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS - Build backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript - Work with PostgreSQL and Drizzle ORM for database design, queries, and migrations - Collaborate with the team to implement new functionality efficiently - Take ownership of assigned work from technical planning through delivery - Write clean, maintainable, and production-ready code - Identify issues, debug efficiently, and deliver reliable solutions - Contribute to code quality, system stability, and development speed ## Requirements - Strong professional experience as a Fullstack Software Engineer - Strong experience with Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, and TypeScript - Strong SQL knowledge and solid experience with PostgreSQL - Experience with Drizzle ORM, or the ability to work with it confidently - Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities without close supervision - Proven ability to ship fast while maintaining code quality - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Clear and professional communication skills in a remote team environment - Comfortable collaborating across time zones with at least 4 hours of overlap with UTC working hours ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience building SaaS platforms or marketplace-style products - Experience working in small, fast-moving teams - Knowledge of testing practices and automated testing - Experience supporting and improving live production systems ## Role Details - Position: Senior Fullstack Software Engineer - Engagement: Full-time contractor - Location: Fully remote - Time zone requirement: Worldwide candidates welcome, with at least 4 hours of overlap with UTC working hours - Compensation: $70,000 to $90,000 per year
