Founding Backend Engineer

## About the role Panther Group is a fintech platform providing local accounts, FX and stablecoins to businesses around the world. We've spent the last two years building the product with an outsourced dev team and the platform is already live and profitable. We're now bringing development in-house and looking for our first backend engineer to take ownership of the system and build from here. The core platform is already built (Python, Django, React). The next phase is expanding integrations with banking, FX and payment APIs, improving the architecture, and continuing to evolve the platform as we onboard more partners and clients. You should be comfortable working with APIs, webhooks and OAuth flows, and not get stuck when documentation is messy or something breaks in production. This is a builder's role with a lot of ownership and a lot of real problems to solve.
