## About the Role We are looking for a Product Analyst who can own the accuracy, clarity, and storytelling of every data point that reaches our brand clients, whether it's in a daily email report, a WhatsApp-delivered NPS summary, or the client dashboard. This role sits at the intersection of product, operations, and client success. You will ensure that the data in our system is communicated to clients accurately, labelled correctly, and displayed in a way that drives decisions — not confusion. This is not a SQL-heavy or data engineering role. This is a "make the data make sense" role — working across our post-purchase engagement modules (Smart Receipts, NPS/CX, Reviews, Referrals, Gamification, and Loyalty) serving 210+ brand clients across India, GCC, and SEA. ## Key Responsibilities - Define and standardise KPI names, definitions, and units across all client-facing outputs, emailers, dashboards, and reports. Own the translation from system-level field names to client-readable metrics. - Work with ops and product teams to design the structure of daily/weekly email reports, ensuring the right KPIs are included, correctly sourced, and visually intuitive. - Map data lineage for every client-facing metric — document where the raw data originates (POS integration, API, file transfer), how it's processed, and what the final displayed value represents. - Regularly audit dashboards to validate that widgets reflect actual system data. Flag and resolve discrepancies between backend data and client-side data. - Build a unified KPI dictionary across all product modules that works consistently for 210+ brand clients. - Serve as the first line of intelligent response when a brand asks "what does this number mean?" or "why did this metric drop?" — analyst-level answers, not support-ticket responses. - During client onboarding, map the client's specific data needs to the platform schema. Define what gets shown, what gets excluded, and what needs custom labelling. - Build client-facing business decks and insight reports showcasing performance trends and actionable recommendations. ## Required Skills - 3–5 years of experience in Business Analytics, Product Ops, or a client-facing analytics role. - Strong understanding of retail KPIs: NPS, CSAT, redemption rates, repeat purchase, campaign conversion, footfall-to-transaction ratios. - Ability to read data from dashboards, basic database queries, and API responses. You don't need to write complex SQL, but you should be able to read a JSON payload or a database document and understand what you're looking at. - Excellent written communication: you'll be defining how 210+ brands interpret their data. - Experience designing or structuring reports and emailers (information architecture, not visual design). - Strong Excel skills. Experience with dashboarding tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker is a plus. - Ability to work across product, engineering, and client ops teams in a fast-paced startup environment. ## Nice to Have - Exposure to WhatsApp Business API / CPaaS platforms (Gupshup, Infobip, etc.). - Familiarity with post-purchase engagement metrics or loyalty program KPIs. - Experience with project management tools like Zoho Projects, JIRA, or similar. - Basic Figma or design tool literacy for wireframing report layouts. - Experience creating client presentations and business insight decks. ## What This Role Is Not - Not a Data Engineer — you won't build data pipelines. - Not a Designer — you won't create visual templates. - Not a Support Executive — you'll analyse, not just respond. - Not a Product Manager — you influence the roadmap, but the PM owns it.
